Smoking

All cottages at Dalegarth and The Ghyll are designated ‘non smoking’.  Smokers are respectfully requested to smoke out of doors.

Electricity

Charged per unit consumed.

Bookings

Please telephone for availability. (N.B. £4 cover charge for Credit Card transactions)

Weekly
Bookings

A deposit of one third of the rental is payable at the time of booking; the balance is due six weeks before commencement of the holiday.

Mini Breaks

A single payment of the full amount, to be made at the time of booking.

Cancellation
Protection

It should be realized that payment of a deposit constitutes a contract, which makes the client liable for the full rental, even if he is forced to cancel the holiday.

To claim repayment for a cancelled holiday could be most distasteful for both us and our visitors, therefore we strongly recommend that you take out a simple cancellation insurance policy with your own agent, or we can provide details of suitable alternative insurance cover.
